The Video Game Room, Part 3

_____

So it seems this is an alien outpost. According to sources, the aliens trap and capture any number of their human adversaries. They herd the captures through that doorway in the back and into an upper level interrogation room. When the aliens are done parsing the extracted data, they escort the captures down that stairway on the right and over to that yellow rope hanging from the steel girder. Once the captures are neutralized, the aliens bring the bodies over to that hole in the foreground and take the bodies down the steps into the cavern. All of these interrogations, I’m told, take place at night.

Keep your eyes on those doorways. Ya never know who, or what, is going to come out of there.

The Video Game Room

_____

When I found this space, I thought I was walking into a video game. An abandoned building, half the roof missing, bright sunlight and deep shadows, graffiti and rust everywhere, and a couple of small signs located in out of the way spots indicating Danger Toxic Waste Site. It definitely had that pungent odor in the air.

I was waiting for a mutant alien to come rushing out from behind one of those steel supports. 5 Exposure HDR…Click image for full size.

I can’t tell you what it is I see in these types of images that makes me want to record them. Some photographers would walk right past it. I couldn’t.
